From Sea to Table: The Cohn Group brings San Diego The Wild Mexican Shrimp Festival!

Sea of Cortez

The Cohn Restaurant Group is offering a very special Chef’s Creation nightly at ten different restaurants this October. The Wild Mexican Shrimp Festival features sea to table offerings from Captain Rodriguez and his family, who have been shrimping the waters of the Sea of Cortez for over 30 years. Captain Rodriguez and his crew harvest the Wild Mexican Shrimp, and they send the shrimp to a 3rd generation, family owned and operated shrimp processing facility. The Cohn Restaurant Group then receives the shrimp from an importer, which also happens to be a family owned business and has been in operation since 1962. Serving responsibly harvested, preservative-free shrimp from clean, nutrient-rich waters are Indigo Grill, Vintana Wine + Dine, Island Prime, 333 Pacific, Blue Point, both the Gaslamp & the La Jolla Strip Club, Bo-Beau Kitchen, 100 Wines Hillcrest, and the Prado. Each chef will create a unique dish featuring Wild Mexican Shrimp that will be offered nightly in addition to their regular dinner menus, so come out and discover the versatility of shrimp!
