We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server came with water and took our drink order quickly. We shared Polpetti De Carni and Shrimp Mozambique appetizers. Both very good. Our dinners were chosen from every region, Mongolian Beef, Bolognese, Asian Noodles, and Peixe Assado. Large portions, and all delicious with leftovers to take home. The bar seemed behind, as we waited a bit for our second round of drinks. However, our server was attentive and apologized for the delay. We will return and hope to enjoy the same positive experience.

Unfortunately, this is our second time at the restaurant and the meals are quite average but premium priced. Further, we had a collection of Portuguese meals during our recent visit and they are not close to authentic but expensive (paella and bitoque). We are rooting for this restaurant to succeed (love the international diversity, it’s ambiance, and location on water) but the food needs real improvement.

We made 3:30 reservations. Reservation accepted. Restaurant not open until 4….
When finally in bldg and seated (3:55) our waitress was clueless about meals.
One person in party had the Mongolian beef. Waitress said it was great but extremely large so she would need to take 1/2 home probably.
Well it came in maybe quart size bowl. Exactly 5 strips of very thin beef,thumb length,and when she ate said the beef tasted like pot roast. It was very stringy.
It was served over rice and sweet and soy sauce on side.
2 in our party got quesadillas. Both ordered the same but both plates came out different. One nicely displayed with side of sour cream,salsa and sliced avocado. One served with salsa on plate and 1 piece of avocado on top…..
One person ordered pizza which was so burnt on bottom it couldn’t be cut or eaten.
Worse restaurant we’ve been to. We eat out at least 2-3 times a week and will NEVER go there again……

2nd time there. Couldn’t wait to bring the family. 1st time on a Sunday. Service was not good. It was not busy. Too bad because the food isn’t bad. Some items are much better than others. We left disappointed.

We dined on a Sunday night for dinner. Our waitress brought warm bread and butter and took our drink order. Very friendly and helpful on the menu.
We ordered artichoke with goat cheese and crab cakes for our appetizers, which were both delicious.
For our dinners, we ordered the swordfish and naked fish, both delicious.
The service was good, not great. We waited for our empty water glasses to be refilled, eventually we gained the attention of a server to fill our glasses.
We enjoyed our evening and the food. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Great service. It was unfortunate that they were short staffed and our reservation time was not honored. We sat at the bar and were not disappointed. Service from the kitchen and the bar was outstanding. A little disappointed that the broccolini was just broccoli, but appreciated that the waitstaff let us know at the time of ordering. We will definitely be returning.

We had a mistakes with our orders, and I was given the wrong steak. So they cooked a new one but it came when everyone was done. It was a $50 steak and it was very oily and did not taste high quality. There was no sorry or anything.
Everything was drowning in oil including the cauliflower entree and veggies. The water has a funny taste I could not get past. We are going to try it one more time because perhaps the kinks will be worked out.

Frankie's International Bistro was just as wonderful as the 1st time I went there! It was a great dining experience for the new people I went with. The service was outstanding; the food was so fresh and delicious; the deserts were scrumptious made by their in-house bakery chef; and the atmosphere was just delightful as we overlooked the lake! It was a home run! It was a 10! Can't wait to go back again!

This was our second visit and while our first visit was mediocre, it is still a new place and sometimes kinks need to be worked out. The service was excellent both times. The international menu idea is an interesting concept but perhaps a bit too difficult to pull off. Prices are high everywhere, but they are especially high here for nothing special.

Since this restaurant is new we will probably give it another try once they get their act together. After we were seated we didn’t see or receive a visit from a server for 15 minutes. The restaurant is nicely decorated but the ambience was just not there due to the bright lights and cafeteria feeling. Our waitress was very sweet however unfortunately she apparently wasn’t fully trained and once she took our food order it never got sent to the kitchen. We arrived at 5:55 and did not have food in front of us til 7:30. The food was average but it was very reasonably priced.

We arrived at 11:20 for an 11:30 reservation. Happy to be seated right away, we had hopes for a great meal. We then had to wait until 12:50 for food to arrive at our table. Servers were very apologetic and being from the service industry at one time, it was not their fault. The kitchen needs to function better. The menu has too many choices and the kitchen might function better if they focused on a few dishes they do well.

We had an amazing brunch. Well worth the price. Great value. And you can tell the ingredients they used were top notch. They even had biscuits and gravy which I haven't had since I was a kid. So you can literally choose from a number of international styles for lunch and dinner. All Fresh and home made. Can't say enough.

I was disappointed with Salmon dish. Hollandaise sauce not what I expected. More a red sauce no tarragon. Very little lump crab . Veggie were over cooked and dry, Service was excellent. Ambiance also very nice.

Red velvet cake was okay at best.
Only veg was zucchini served with steak. Boring.
Service slow and inexperienced. Took us over two hours to eat dinner.

Went to dinner with my husband, dad, sister, brother and his fiancé for 6:30pm with a plan to see a movie at 8pm in North Attleboro. The waitress was good but we all needed our drinks refilled and was never given water refills and we ordered food around 6:45-6:50 and received it around 7:15- 7:20 which was great but the kitchen forgot to make my sisters pizza (or messed it up even though she didn’t change the pizza) and so we all had to eat our dinner while she had to wait for hers which didn’t get brought to our table until 7:47 and we asked for it in a pizza box since we had to leave which we got but they didn’t even cut the pizza slices for her. Overall the food was good but we were frustrated that my sister wasn’t able to enjoy her pizza with all of us, instead she had to eat the pizza as we drove to the movies. Thankfully we were not charged for the pizza

I hate writing negative reviews about a start-up restaurant, but here goes! The restaurant has been beautifully updated and the views of the lake are spectacular. The menu is overwhelming with too many options and international choices. Maybe pare down to 4 items per each international selection and do them with flare. Our table of seven picked Portuguese, Italian, Asian and Pizza. The Portuguese dishes were dry - Mine was supposed to come with a calm broth and french fries - both were missing. My wife got an Italian dish she did not order. The General Tau's Chicken tasted packaged and micro-waved while the pizza definitely had a frozen crust. My son was violently ill immediately upon leaving - suspect it was a bad clam in the Portuguese dish. We didn't complain because the meal took so long to arrive and we had a small child with us. The only input from management was when they cleared our table, she wondered why we did not request to-go boxes? I really hope they scale down the menu as the restaurant has good bones and a fabulous view. Wishing them success in the future, but changes need to be made quickly!

Went there on Dec 16. Place looked very nice. We were seated immediately we had reservations. Waitress took a little long to come over and greet us. She took out orders after bringing us out drinks. One person in the party doesn't drink alcohol. She informed him that they ran out of non alcoholic beer. I was informed that I had just finished the last of the whiskey I was drinking. Appetizers came out and didn't impress us. Btw we were a party of 6. We ordered our entrees,when they came out we were disappointed . Two of us ordered the Bitoque Medeiros ,and another gentleman ordered carne di porco alentejana. The women ordered fish.Our bitoques are nothing like what a traditional Bitoque is supposed to be. Way over priced as well by 15 dollars. Missing flavor that comes from Portuguese food. The carne di porco was service as a piece of steak,white rice in a bowl. That's definitely not the Portuguese dish. We told the waitress and she got a new dish . We are Portuguese and we know what the Portuguese food should taste and be presented. If you're going to advertise as an international bistro then service dishes that are close to what is traditionally served. Had an espresso after dinner and the espresso cup is small to begin with but when the cup isn't even half full and one of them actually had a bout two drops of coffee in it. We told the waitress that and her response was that's how it came out of the machine. Would never go back we figure we'd give it a try.Food was way over priced .

We had reservations for brunch at 11 o’clock on Sunday and the door was locked. Even the hostess could not get in. I had waffles which I was told had strawberries and blueberries. It came with a few blueberries and no strawberries. Plus the waffles were cold and not homemade. They seemed like they were frozen waffles. The bacon was uncooked. All in all the experience was not good

Absolutely loved everything! From the ease of the online reservations. To the Amazing staff From the hostess to our phenomenal waitress. The menu has the most wonderful array of foods to choose from & the presentation when the arrived at the table beautiful. Each Meal was perfection & the Expresso Martini's highly recommended. The restaurant is Gorgeous inside As well as the bar. I recommended this restaurant for casual or for a fine dining date. I'll be back for sure. Thank you Tracy

Loved the decor, enjoyed the extensive menu options, staff were spectacular. It was my wife's birthday celebration and everyone made us feel special, velvet cake dessert was delicious & presented beautifully. Hated to disturb the look, but had to eat the yummy cake. Will definitely go back again!

Went on 21/14. Severely understaffed. One waitress for the entire restaurant. Food and drinks took incredibly long.Overworked staff and bartender. Kitchen staff was trying to help. Manager seemed completely unaware and asking quests how things were without assisting. waitress was excellent, as well as a young girl cleaning tables.

We could tell that Frankie’s was a little short staffed for Thanksgiving this year. It looked as if only one waitress was working for the whole dining room. We waited a bit long for our drinks and to order food. That being said, we knew it was a holiday and workers are hard to come by. When they recognized we had been waiting a while we noticed the whole staff supporting the waitress. Everyone was pleasant while they were in the weeds. The food was really good! Portuguese stuffing made my day… SO good! The whole family said we’d like to come back another time and try the regular menu. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal!

Didn’t seem busy, but long time between ‘do you need anything’ and when things arrived, sometimes forgotten. Bill was wrong (corrected) never got some things.
